Office manager/Administrator to a Moldova-EU project!



 



As a part of a mobility partnership between the Republic of Moldova and the European Union a project on labour and return migration will start in February 2009. The name of the project is “Strengthening the Moldova capacity to manage labour and return migration within the framework of the mobility partnership with the EU” and it will last for three years. Twelve European Union member states will participate in the project together with Moldova.



The Moldovan National Employment Service, the Agentia Nationala pentru Ocuparea  Fortei de Munca (ANOFM) will be the owner of the project. The Swedish Public Employment Service will be the implementing body.



The project is financed by the European Union.



We are now looking for an experienced office manager/administrator who will provide assistance and secretary support to the Project Director and the rest of the project staff in all daily project activities. You should have working experience from international projects and a relevant educational background. Furthermore, good computer and interpersonal skills are a must. Fluency in the English language is required and knowledge of the Romanian and Russian languages are compulsory. Your tasks comprise:



-          Close contact with the Project Director and the whole team of experts



-          Close contact with the Ministry of Economy and Commerce, the National Employment Agency and other key-stakeholders



-          Day-to-day office management



-          Schedule meetings



-          Organise seminar facilities, catering, etc.



-          Organisation of professional translation and interpretation if necessary



-          Help with organisation of  study tours



-          Support  elaboration of reports



-          Translation of documents from English into Romanian and Russian and vice versa



-          Interpretation from English into Romanian and Russian and vice versa during meetings



-          Administration of the project local budget (book-keeping, data processing)



 



You will be stationed in the project’s Chisinau office.



Duration/working hours: 100% February 2009-January 2012

Communication expert to an EU project in Moldova

The name of the project is “Strengthening the Moldova capacity to manage labour and return migration within the framework of the mobility partnership with the EU”and it will last for three years. Twelve Member States of the European Union will participate in the project together with Moldova.



The project, which will last for three years, is financed by the European Union.

We are now looking for an expert in the field of communication and information…



 



Tasks:



You will



-         be responsible for all communication and information activities in the project



-         structure and disseminate information using all available channels -  the Internet, mass media, brochures, publications etc



-         organise and carry out information campaigns



-         elaborate reports to the EU



-         work closely with the rest of the project staff, especially with the web master



Qualifications:



-         Adequate academic education



-         Very good writing skills



-         Experience in communicative or journalistic work, preferably concerning public information



-         Experience in working in a complex project or in a complex organisation



-         Experience of web publishing



-         Fluent in Romanian and Russian, very good in English



 



You will be stationed in the project’s Chisinau office, but there will be frequent travels abroad. The project staff will consist of six people.



Duration/working hours: 100% February 2009-January 2012

Interpreter/translator to a Moldova-EU project!

The interpreter / translator will provide interpretation and translation services to the Team Leader and other international experts of the project in all daily project activities. You should have a minimum of 2-3 years working experience as interpreter and translator for English into Romanian and Russian and vice versa. Working experience in international projects are requirement as well as a relevant educational background. Furthermore, good computer and interpersonal skills are a must. Your tasks comprise:



-          Provide translation of documents relevant to the project (laws, strategy papers, project reports) from Romanian and / or Russian into English and vice versa.



-          Provide interpretation services from Romanian and/or Russian into English and vice versa for the Team Leader and other international experts during informal and formal meetings



-          Provide interpretation services from Romanian and / or Russian into English and vice versa during training sessions



-          Provide interpretation services from Romanian and / or Russian into English and vice versa during study tours, if necessary



-          Support office manager in daily office management

Web master to a Moldova-EU project!

-         participate in the implementation of communication campaigns and other marketing events



-         work closely with the rest of the project staff, especially with the communication/information expert



Qualifications:



-         Adequate academic education



-         Work experience as a web master



-         Very good writing and computer skills



-         Fluent in Romanian and Russian, very good in English
